JJRC H36 Overview

JJRC H36 drone The JJRC H36 drone is a blue and black mini quadcopter that is only 3.4 x 3.4 inches in size and it’s small enough to fit on your hand. The main frame is moulded in one piece with a small colored cover over the pcb board.

The blade guards give 360 degree protection and the landing gear is built in. The JJRC H36 comes with one battery with usb charger, 4 spare propellers, a remote control and manual. It is very easy to pair the controller and drone by just moving the left joystick up and down, make sure that the drone is on a flat surface so it calibrates correctly. It has a 6-Axis gyroscope for strong stability and greater wind resistance.

You have up to 5 minutes flying time with 1 battery and you can get spare battery packs on Amazon.com if you want to up your flying time. You can also fly in a 30 metre range although some people have found that it can go a bit further than that. As long as you realise if you go too far you will lose the signal.

In terms of flying features on this JJRC H36 it offers headless flying mode which is great for beginners while they are getting the hang of controlling the front of the drone. With headless mode you don’t need to know which is the front of the quadcopter, whichever side is pointing towards you is the back and you can steer accordingly. You also get a return home button which means if you feel you’re out of control you can bring it home at the touch of a button.

There are 2 speeds available on this mini drone, start off slow while you learn how to coordinate you hand movements to make the drone do what you want then speed up when you feel more confidant with the flying.

Don’t forget that you can do 360 degree flips with the press of a button, once you press the button if you move the control in a direction that you want to flip the drone will follow.

The drone comes with 2 different color led lights underneath which helps with identification of the front and back of the drone and if you’re flying in low light it just looks good. If you want to read a full review of this JJRC H36 click here.

Furibee F36 Overview

Furibee F36 The Furibee F36 offers a mini drone with the ducted fan design which gives you a tough durable style which can take quite a few knocks without worry of damage and the propellers are well protected too. It comes with a battery with usb charger, 4 spare propellers, a remote control, a screw driver and a manual. The screwdriver is for the screw that hold the battery compartment closed in the remote control.

The flying time with this drone is 5-6 minutes which is average for this type of mini drone and has a 30 metre range.

The Furibee F36 has headless mode which is activated by pressing down on the left joystick which is a helpful feature when you’re learning as well as the return home button. You get 2 speeds, the slowest is great for indoors and if you’re just learning and you can get some more speed in outside where you have more space to let it rip. The 360 flips are pretty cool with this drone, they’re tight and stay up in the air not dropping to the floor, it’s very easy to do one after the other and with the direction control you can dictate which way it flips. You have lights underneath helping you to know which is the front end. This is a great mini drone to learn with.

JJRC H36 vs Furibee F36

Apart from the colour these 2 drones are very similar. They have the same design, they offer the same extras in the pack and they are the same size. They both have the same features offered in terms of speed and flying capability.

So are there any differences? The remote controls are slightly different, the JJRC H36 has buttons on the shoulders and the Furibee F36 doesn’t. There is a slight difference in the price at the moment the JJRC H36 is a bit cheaper than the Furibee F36. The biggest difference seems to be in the performance of the motors, the Furibee seems to have more power. This is noticeable when it flips as it can hold its height easily and it seems to give a little more control when flying it.

Conclusion

When it comes to JJRC H36 vs Furibee F36 there isn’t much to tell between them. They are both great beginner drones and can be flown in the house as well as outside. You won’t be disappointed no matter which you choose but if you’re looking for a mini drone that has that extra zip then go for the Furibee F36 and if you’re looking for the cheapest mini drone then go for the JJRC H36.
